Mr. Newman founded Newman Golf in 1993 as an affiliate of the Newman Capital Group, which he co-founded in 1972. Newman Capital is a merchant banking group headquartered in Minneapolis, MN.

Mr. Newman has nearly 30 years of experience as a principal in asset management, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, finance and private equity investing. During that time he formed 15 private equity funds to acquire, grow, and harvest various real estate related asset classes and operating businesses. Mr. Rosendahl has more than 14 years of experience in private country club and daily-fee golf facility operations. Prior to joining Newman Golf in 1998, Mr. Rosendahl was Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf at two exclusive midwestern golf facilities.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a marketing major from the University of Northern Iowa, and has a Class A membership in the Professional Golfers Association of America. e-mail Mr. Rosendahl.


Mr. Matthias has more than 10 years experience in private country club and daily-fee golf facility operations. Before he joined Newman Golf in 1997, Mr. Matthias was Head Golf Professional at an exclusive midwestern private country club.

He has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in business administration and finance from Wartburg College, and a Class A membership in the Professional Golfers Association of America. e-mail Mr. Matthias.


Mr. Taylor has more than six years experience in commercial real estate and specialty financing. Prior to joining Newman Golf, Mr. Taylor was a Commercial Loan Officer for a major mid western mortgage banker. He also founded, grew and harvested a private-label finance company specializing in the manufactured housing industry.

Mr. Taylor has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in economics from Claremont McKenna College in California, and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. e-mail Mr. Taylor.
